I have minimal hearing in my left ear. Recently my Samsung TV with Tautronics Bluetooth transmitter (TT BA01U) died. High Fear. Rumors affect relationships. We bought cheap Hisense Series 7 headphones. The transmitter was not connected. Bought a digital to analog converter. That does not work. All said to change the audio output to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation). My other TV - Sony - doesn't have PCM or Bluetooth - and couldn't get the Taotronics transmitter to work with it. Read hundreds ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Supports digital audio input: optical SPDIF (Toslink) or coaxial
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works great, but PLEASE READ!

Works great! But READ THIS! I will post it first. My red and white poles are back-to-front. That's all! For RCA cables, red = right, white = left. They are marked white as R and red as L. I'll try to add a picture. Now. I could tell that the message color is wrong, not the R&L caption because the sound is correctly right or left under the letters. So if yours is like mine, connect the red wire to the R on this one, which might be white. Otherwise you hear the opinion of the other side. For myโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Support for all SPDIF digital audio formats including PCM 32kHz/44.1kHz/48kHz/96kHz, Digital 5.1 and DTS; Incoming bitstream 24bit SPDIF on left and right channel
Cons
  • Uncertain

Exactly what I need

Just received the Samsung Q70 TV. I like the TV, but it doesn't have an analog audio output like most modern TVs. The problem is I need to be able to play audio through my headphones (no Bluetooth) and the Vizio soundbar at the same time. The only option is to use the optical output and connect the cable to the splitter. From the splitter I send one line to the soundbar (or a suitable A/V receiver that accepts an optical input) and the other line to the D/A converter, to which I connect the RCA

Pros
  • plug and play. Support US power adapter. Note: 1. This item does not support 7.1 audio. 2. Please switch the right channel you need by pressing the "SPDIF/COAXIAL" button on the side of the product. 3. You need to push the cable a little harder than you are used to. You should hear a "click" when you've connected correctly.
Cons
  • I will write later
