Review on πŸ”Š PCM, 5.1 Digital & DTS Supported Optical SPDIF Toslink/Coaxial Digital to Analog Audio Decoder Converter by Shahed Cleveland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great, but PLEASE READ!

Works great! But READ THIS! I will post it first. My red and white poles are back-to-front. That's all! For RCA cables, red = right, white = left. They are marked white as R and red as L. I'll try to add a picture. Now. I could tell that the message color is wrong, not the R&L caption because the sound is correctly right or left under the letters. So if yours is like mine, connect the red wire to the R on this one, which might be white. Otherwise you hear the opinion of the other side. For my rating. So far they're working great! Like many here, I bought these because my new TV doesn't have an RCA or headphone jack for audio output. TOSLINK port only. I wasn't sure if this would help but based on other reviews I decided to give it a try. I wanted to be able to use my wireless headphones and not for video games because my wife doesn't allow it. I don't do this nonsense anymore, but so I can watch TV without waking my kids up at night. They are very light sleepers and I will not force them to watch violent or scary shows with me. The audio through this seems crystal clear to me, I didn't see any audio or lip sync or lag. I am really happy. CONS: I only have two issues: the RCA connectors are swapped, but I found that I needed headphones to listen, and all I had to do was switch cables. Ready. The other is the red light on the device when it's on. It stays on all the time. A bit annoying at night. But I'll probably just glue it on. Nothing prevents him from being a 5 start unit in my opinion. I intentionally didn't listen to Dolby, so I can't confirm if it works with that. But I'm sure it's alright. Obtain. dear ir
