The first batch I received had no instructions in the packaging. I started assembling the chair because it seemed intuitive enough. In the final step, I had trouble installing the saddle on the stem that connects it to the base because there was an extra piece of plastic that I didn't know I was removing unless I had the instructions . I called the company and they said they would email me the instructions (which they never did) but they sent me a replacement chair. I had so much trouble coordinating with them to pick up my broken chair and they never followed me so I ended up throwing it away. I like the chair itself but it took too much effort to put together.
