I've spent the last ten years trying to find a really comfortable mattress. I've tried models with super brand guarantees to old school mattress models and box spring beds. Nothing seemed to work. I am a bit pickier than most as I have had the unfortunate pleasure of having 2 triple spinal fusions plus a double neck fusion over the past 5 years so comfort is a tough task but a priority. I chose this mattress from all the mattresses that Amazon sells simply because it is advertised as having both a hard and soft side. I figured one should work. It arrived compressed and rolled up with a tool to cut through the plastic and watch it slowly grow. It is recommended to allow 72 hours to stretch, but after about 4 hours I was already at 12 inches. I quit smoking a few months ago and have a strong odor, I noticed a very faint odor from it compared to others. Well I tried the hard side first and it is as advertised as hard. If you sleep on your back, this might be the right choice for you. That wasn't the case for me because I just couldn't feel comfortable with all the equipment on my back. Soooo I flipped it and tried the soft to medium side. I rarely run out of words, but after lying down on this page I was speechless. This mattress is a game changer. Incredibly comfortable for me. I wish I could describe my feelings but the support is second to none. Almost like lying on a giant marshmallow. When you're lying on your side, whatever this foam is, it offers amazing support for every corner of your body. Absolutely everything is supported to the maximum without sinking into the mattress. I don't know if I've had unnecessary mattresses in the past, and should a mattress be like this? Incredible puts it mildly. For anyone wondering what is the support on the edges? Well, if your spine is screwed up, that's a big concern as it's difficult to put shoes on. Sitting on the edge of the bed and putting on your shoes is just what you need. I wish I could give this manufacturer more praise than a simple Revain review, yes it's pretty damn handy. I cannot recommend this mattress highly enough to anyone struggling with sleeping issues. It's just a game changer in every aspect of 10,000 Stars Sleep.
