For the price, this monitor is absolutely unbeatable in one thing: text display! A 4k monitor is essentially four 1080p monitors glued together. So if you buy a 4k monitor and then run your OS at 2x zoom, that's like having a very, very good 1080p monitor. Everything looks fresh and beautiful; Any jagged edges you might see in text on 1080p monitors are just gone. Unfortunately, most 4k monitors are huge and expensive; it is normal size and cheap! I bought two to replace a 1080p dual monitor setup for my home office. I like everything so far! The monitor doesn't support High Dynamic Range (HDR) or Wide Color Gamut (WCG), but I don't need it. Its 60Hz refresh rate is also within walking distance by today's gaming monitor standards, but then again, that's no big deal for regular office work and programming (or the occasional single-player video game!). The only thing I would like to change about this monitor is the presence of a second DisplayPort input instead of a second HDMI port. I think it has to do with the FreeSync implementation in the monitor. All in all the best 4k monitor on the market.
