Review on Dorman 911-629 Vent Solenoid for Vapor Canister by David Robinson
Less expensive than buying a new canister
I installed this Dorman 911-629 Air Vent Solenoid on my 2003 Corolla. My check engine light came on with P0446. I already installed a used canister so I did a solenoid test with a car battery. The old solenoid made a switching noise, but it sounded weak. I decided to buy this solenoid and change it. What difference does it make if the solenoid is working. My check engine light went out.
