It serves its purpose, which turns out to be moderate isolation duration. I bought it for a long trip and it didn't work all day. The concept seemed good for keeping a cooler in the trunk, but not as practical as I had hoped. My car is black and therefore the trunk gets very hot. The radiator's wide, squat dimensions also result in a large heated surface area that must be insulated. Seems great for a picnic or a max 3-5 hour drive. In the end I didn't bother using it for the return trip of my trip.
