Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Tubeless Tire Inflator 1.15l - Advanced Airshot by Mark Deuschle

Great alternative if you don't have an air compressor or need one for some other reason

If you have a great floor pump that can pump up to 160psi (I have a Topeak Joe Blow) then you can save $$$ on purchasing an air compressor (or a new floor pump with a canister built in) to fit tubeless tires. And saves you having to go to LBS to have them do it for you. It works as advertised (at least for my 700 x 28 tubeless road bike tires). Easy to use: (1) Make sure the canister valve is in the closed position, (2) connect the tubing from the canister to the valve stem (you need to remove the valve core), (3) attach the pump head to the Canister. , (4) inflate the canister to 160psi, (5) open the canister valve to inflate the tire until the seat is seated (you will hear one or more pops to confirm it is properly seated) . Voila! Ready! Be sure to leave the canister valve in the open position. When you remove the pump head from the canister, the remaining air inside escapes through the presta valve. Then remove the hose from the tire valve. Since the valve core has already been removed, there is one operation less sealant injection (I know some people apply sealant before mounting tires, but I do it afterwards in case there are any tire seating issues). I kept the canister storage box. And another reminder to store it with the valve open!

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • When in doubt
