First of all I didn't get the amazonbasics brand advertised! I clearly remember it being sold as such a product. I have something called Mosche and now the brand on the website has changed again and it's called fitmaker or voocoo - I'm not even sure. But that's not the main problem. Please remind me again, why would I use a kettle when it lasts longer than a stovetop? In fact, I compared side by side because I was curious after using it a few times and wondered if it was just me. In addition, it is cheap and thin. At first I liked that it was lighter than my previous kettle, but that's because the glass is thinner. Cannot handle minor accidents. And what's the point of having all those 60°, 70°, etc. keys if they're useless. One would imagine that they are good at keeping the water at a certain temperature or at least warm, right? Not right. It also bobbles and splashes water while it's boiling and takes forever to stop automatically. Do not disturb, do not buy. Waste of money, waste of time.
