I have this radio (it's just a radio, not the one with a CD player) and I have no particular complaints. I think it sounds pretty good; I wasn't expecting a stereo in the shower! The only thing I noticed is that it's difficult to turn it on and off when the batteries are dead. In other words, you may have to press the power button multiple times to turn it on or off. But if the batteries are strong then you don't have this problem. But most battery-powered devices work better when they have good, strong batteries. I only try to use good quality alkaline batteries. The better the batteries, the less often you have to change them. In fact, these new titanium batteries last a LONG time! Some of the other reviewers said that this radio uses batteries too often. Well maybe it is, but I don't think it's any more common than any other battery powered device I own. It seems my MP3 player uses batteries more often than I expected. I only restock batteries when I catch them on sale.
