They are easy to install and use although care must be taken not to let the buckle hit the paint (helps hold the top buckles together during installation). The construction looks solid. I use them on my pickup truck to occasionally haul long boards (with a rear-mounted prop). While I like that it attaches to the paint without the hard hooks, the strap that goes inside can be problematic for taller passengers. When I last used it, one of the four straps (outside) vibrated/hummed. He didn't touch the paint, and the lift helped, but didn't go away. I have never accelerated over 50 km/h. Not sure what I did differently but it was dark so I suspect I missed something.
