These are the quickest and easiest and I think I'm right about the cheapest mid-bass boost solution. I think you can get away with it, negligible noise reduction and near-pro results. Gear::Apline PDX-F6 on 4x Audison Voce K6.5 in a Chevy Cruze door. The doors are fully dampened with Second Skin Dampifier Pro and the door skins are heavily dampened as well. Phenomenal mid-bass. I think they should be on your pick list for door speaker installation. They build an open enclosure around the speaker and isolate it from the door cavity, allowing mid-bass to flow through the door into the cab. I've seen these cheap foam rings in some of the most expensive kits that didn't use custom bumps.
