A common screen problem ruins a great monitor

I bought three variants of these G24c monitors in late November 2017 and they ticked all the right boxes: 144Hz, 1ms response time and great picture (for 1080p). I didn't care that they were curved, but after buying them and putting them on my desk I found that I liked the effect. I wasn't looking for 4k or 1440 at the time and it's a solid 1080p display if it works as expected. At first I couldn't use FreeSync because I had a GTX1080 and it wasn't supported yet. Once I finally enabled FreeSync, I was happy with the performance. Unfortunately, at the end of 2018, I noticed that these lines "came out" at the bottom of the screen on my monitors. (In the attached image the bottom part of the monitor looks as it originally looked) At first it was only on my middle monitor but over time two of the three monitors had the same effect. I thought it might be a graphics card or driver issue and did so for a while and it seemed to go away after 5-10 minutes after the monitor turned on. After sorting out what was
