I wish I had had this many years ago! I've never tried waxing - I've always waxed (armpits/legs) and waxing sounded awful. Well I wish I had bitten the bullet a few years ago because this is a game changer! This product exceeds all my expectations. I'm a super baby when it comes to pain and it doesn't hurt any more than growing. I had to do several passes and it's important to have good lighting (the light on the epilator is good but not enough) but I'm embarrassed to even mention it because I don't care. THIS THING IS AWESOME! ADVANTAGES: - Comfortable. I can epilate WHEN I WANT. This means I don't have to plan, wait and grow my hair for waxing. Quickly. Maybe not as fast as shaving, but epilation lasts MUCH longer. "It doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would. If you've waxed before, it's very similar. And the pain will definitely subside over time. Saves money. This little epilator cost a little more than a waxing session (armpits/legs), so it's already paid for itself. - No fracture. I was afraid that the epilator would damage my sometimes brittle hair. NO. I definitely saw the root pulled out. - Bonus Pack. Little did I know it comes with a little pouch to keep everything together. Nothing special, but I like it. Super convenient MINUS (the only one): - The cord is very short. However, I will take a short battery cable every day just to ensure durability. I assume this little guy will last a long time. NOTES: - I cannot comment on the shaver/trimmer. I haven't used it yet, but I plan to in the future. However, I bought this solely for the epilator so the shaver was just a bonus and doesn't affect my rating. - Ice pack/glove looks like a gimmick and extravagance. I use an ice pack during lunch and throw down the gauntlet. BOTTOM LINE: If you're on the fence, GET AN EPILATOR! Serious.
