I ordered these screens because they are fine mesh. They seem well put together. I was initially concerned about the lack of rivets to attach the handle to the filter, but the weld seems solid. The screen sits in a metal rim that holds the wires securely. Basically I wanted them to be used for cheese making and they did their job well and were easy to clean. They're also good for straining rice, quinoa, and other small grains. The medium size is perfect for a 16 oz can of vegetables.
