I've been using this chair for my daily office work for 6 months and I really like it. But now the gas bottle is not holding the seat in the position I set it to. I can adjust the height of the seat and within a few hours it's back to low (probably 3 inches off). I'm a long way from hitting the 280 lb weight limit. Now I have to buy a better chair. Update: The seller contacted me and offered to send a replacement gas bottle so I could change my rating. They sent a replacement (the chair has a 1 year warranty so that was fair) and now it works perfectly. Strangely they sent me a different brand of gas bottle than the original bottle - I don't know why. Anyway I like the chair again, just wish I didn't have to worry about changing the tank and hope the new tank lasts. Update 2: Based on replacing the gas bottle under warranty, I've upgraded the rating to 3 stars. They have now contacted me and offered to send me a lumbar pillow if I upgrade my rating to 5 stars. I'm really disgusted that they are trying to manipulate customer reviews by trying to buy a 5 star rating when they were merely replacing a faulty product under warranty. So I'm lowering the rating for this dishonest activity. Now you know the whole story. Overall a good chair for me but first issues with a bad cylinder and now they are trying to buy a better review. Not the kind of company I want to support.
