The zipper is not sewn. Rather glued!
That was my unsatisfactory order. First, pillowcases are larger than the length of a king-size pillow. This is about 1.5 to 2 inches of extra length. Secondly, I put the covers in the washing machine to freshen them up on a gentle cycle before putting on the pillows and to my surprise the zipper came completely off the pillowcase. It looks like the zippers are glued to the fabric and not sewn in. I do not recommend buying this product.
