I have been using a Wahl thread cutter for many years and have struggled with tangled cords. It's also very difficult to find the right grip angle when moving overhead. I just received the Mangroomer and tried it for the first time. Cuts a lot tighter than the Wahl and felt more comfortable against my skin when I was using it. The compact size and cordless capability are the main reasons I switched to the new trimmer, but there's so much more to this trimmer that I love. Also compared to Remington but chose Mangroomer as it was about half the price. The only difference I noticed from reading the descriptions is that the Remington has a curved edge. I'm not sure if it would be better, but I'm completely satisfied with the Mangrumer. Another thing to note is that it seems to take a few seconds for the blades to reach full speed after turning it on. It doesn't concern anything I could say, just what I wrote down. Very happy with this trimmer.
