When I was a child, my grandmother, now 93, used to make strawberry jam out of the fridge every summer. They had small square containers that looked exactly the same, except the lids were sometimes country colors instead of that green. I don't know if they are the same brand but they are identical in shape and lid style. Putting jam in the fridge this year saw this when I was looking for additional containers and my sense of nostalgia prompted me to buy. And they are exactly as I remember them. I've read several reviews where people seem unhappy with the lids. I'm really confused about this because lids aren't particularly intricate or complex. They fit - and seal - exactly as they should. As you work with them, you'll notice that there's a spot in the middle of the lid where you can press the center - just use them for their intended purpose, check the corners as you would any square lid - and boom, you're done. They're perfect for frozen jams and other frozen foods you may need in a container other than a ziplock bag. Pints are great for jams and quarts are great for freezing soups. Definitely recommend.
