Review on Philips Hue Bluetooth Gradient Ambiance Smart Lightstrip 2m/6ft Base Kit with Plug - Multicolor Strip (Apple Homekit + Google Home Compatible), White, 570556 by Morgan Arnold

The lighting on this product is really amazing and the spread is great. My problem is that I need two 3ft sections that are separate from each other (bar shelves). I was hoping I could find a way to separate the sections and solder a connector between them like most LED systems do. Alternatively, I'd like to be able to connect the extension to the main block's controller box. Unfortunately, none of these options are possible. So I would have to pay 2 x $180 ($360) to light two three foot sections of shelves. This is extremely wasteful as I have to throw away over half of both purchases and need two controller boxes. Philips should offer more options for placing and using the product as it is a premium product. Again, the ambient light, controller and colors are really good. I just wish it was more adaptable for more uses.
