These lights are beautiful. Bright as electric light and visible from the same distance at the end of the block. We chose them to decorate pines and bushes that were too far from the outlet - very easy to set up - the timer is handy and works great. The remote control is good but you have to be outside and fairly close to the lights. Keep in mind that the lightbulbs will get weaker as the batteries wear out. We swapped out the batteries after about two and a half weeks, even before they were completely dead, to restore brightness. Very satisfied and even bought a few more sets to decorate more than planned. Very very nice!
