Great potential - if you can get your pet to eat it

I've never heard of turkey mushrooms and definitely never heard of the health benefits of their extract. We had a sick kitten and the medication the vet prescribed helped, but she had side effects such as electrolyte depletion, loss of appetite and others that we tried to manage in a variety of ways. One way they did this was through Real Mushrooms Turkey Pet Support. Studies have shown this substance to sound very promising, with potential benefits including: > Contains 35 different antioxidants, including phenols and flavonoids > Promotes and helps maintain healthy gut bacteria, which medical evidence has shown not only aids in digestion, but is strong too affect the immune system > contain an ingredient that may help fight cancer in the body. I think a turkey tail would have helped our kitty, the only problem was he couldn't stand the smell. As soon as he smelled it, he turned away and didn't want to touch it. Maybe we could get him to swallow medicine into a smaller capsule, but we didn't try. I think this supplement might be better for dogs who in my experience are less picky about what they eat. Also, the pod can probably be wrapped in a hunk of meat or a strip of bacon, and soon it's "in the hatch". Perhaps a less picky cat or a cat with different tastes than our Jake would have accepted it without hesitation. But it didn't help us. So why five stars? This is because of the potential benefits of this supplement. The best time to treat a pet's illness is before they become ill. So, educate yourself on the benefits of turkey tail, and if you think it could be a potential benefit for your beloved pet, pick it up and give it to them as a preventive measure while they are still healthy. We plan to test this on our other 3 cats to see if they accept it. just the right thing for your pet to try out. At 27 cents a pill, it's worth a try!
