Review on ๐ŸŒ€ AC Infinity AIRPLATE S7: Silent 12" Cooling Fan System with Speed Control for Home Theater AV Cabinets by Ricky Pee

So far, so good... - Fan and cooling

The first impression (only box/unboxing) was extremely convincing. While I was aware of the dimensions, they ended up being slightly larger than expected (but the unassuming design and sheer quality of the fans quickly allayed those concerns). I bought them specifically for a custom built-in media cabinet (made by a carpenter), so distribution was an obvious afterthought (although I was already expecting this, hence my research on AC Infinity products). Carpenter did an incredible job putting the cabinet together and I literally spat on his kid after I told him exactly where I was going to install these fans. do you want to wear them It was an argument he couldn't win, especially with the heat coming from the massive Denon receiver, my FW, Linksys ACS5400 etc (well over 100+ degrees with the door closed). The heat was so extreme that the fans on all my units were spinning/squeaking like crazy and we were forced to leave the doors open until the case modifications were complete. bottom line? Even without a dedicated exhaust fan (which relies solely on door gaps) I still have to manage to get past 81 degrees even with Full Surround enabled with Infinity Wars or Ragnarok. With the Smart function, it's like my air conditioner is turning on and off, with the fans spinning faster the closer they get to the threshold to suppress/maintain the set temperature. Not sure about fan longevity yet (haven't had it in over a week) although VERY impressed so far... It's media fans too, the dBA is very quiet/tolerant/unobtrusive at TV volume at face value . Highly recommendedโ€ฆ
