Review on Cooler Master MasterFan MF120R RGB Case Fan πŸŒ€ - Ultimate Silent Cooling with 120mm RGB LED Technology (R4-C1DS-20PC-R1) by Kenta Nakashima ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is really good, I'm glad I purchased it.

I hung the fans on a temperature sensor (from the motherboard kit) fixed at the outlet of the airflow video card (and the temperature sensor that comes with the coolers is only suitable for the backlight control panel and is only needed to change the color of the backlight when the temperature changes (useless nonsense )). Using the remote control, you can activate the mode when the color of the backlight changes depending on the temperature on the sensor, but I use backlight control via ARGB on the motherboard. The backlight 3pin 5v (ARGB) is connected through a controller that has a separate SATA power supply (although there is additional power here, unlike fans).

Pros
  • Good air flow at maximum speed. Support ASUS Aura. At rpms up to 1000, they are quite quiet.
Cons
  • Very noisy at maximum speed. When changing the speed of rotation, there is generally some kind of rumble with vibration. Short wires, do not lay neatly. All three fans are connected via a splitter to one connector on the motherboard without additional power, I don’t know how much this loads the connector. Flimsy body. The backlight could be brighter, although I have two grids in front of them on the case. The kit does not include additional clamps for lighting wire connections, as in the HALO version.
