Sacrificed quality for the price - shame on you!

My 12 year old daughter takes lessons from a great teacher who has one of these original truth tables in his shop. The original 43" version is aluminum and is a great installation tool. Since I couldn't find the original I thought I'd buy her this one because I thought it was almost the same. - Pun). It is made of plastic (from China) and comes in two parts. The pieces fit together nicely, but there's a small edge where they fit together that's never really flat. Great time talking about how these two I put the ruler to one side and there was a slight half inch gap where the two pieces touch and form a distinct arc on the board. It's felt. While the overall length is 3 feet, the actual shot distance is only 32 inches. I'm not a big golfer and I can almost always do it. And my daughter easily manages 19 out of 20 with the 2 inch gearbox installed. The perfect time to talk about T-Hole gear. If you happen to mount this on a hard surface like a tile, when the ball falls into the hole it will bounce off the board and the adapter will move out of position. I had to put it on a rug for it to work, which makes pumping difficult. Perfect time to talk about the level. I couldn't level it no matter what I did. When I adjusted it the whole board just went up and down and didn't rotate either way. By keeping the ball at the bottom of the hole and letting it roll across the surface, I was never able to get the ball to roll straight to the starting point. It was always pulled to one side and rolled along the edge even when the spirit level said it was level. It should be some sort of product sold at Target for around $20 (not reaching Target). It's far from worth $75. I sent it back and will keep looking for the original version and maybe find a used one if I can. In the meantime I'm going to buy a piece of aluminum and drill a 2" hole in it. Oh, and as for returning the balls, I just ask my dog to return the balls to me.
