I used to work in a professional kitchen and used magnetic knife holders. That's the real deal, the magnets are pretty strong and while I haven't had this product in a very long time I see no reason why they won't last for years. As a former line chef, I love the look of stainless steel, so this knife holder is visually perfect. What else can you say? Holds knife, holds well, looks professional. The item arrived on time and the follow up email from the seller was a nice touch. If I had to pick one negative thing I would say that this is one of the most expensive options on Amazon but as with most things in life you get what you pay for. I suspect that the quality of similar but cheaper products is not comparable to this one. If you are looking for a product like this, most likely you know what you are looking for and I will simply say that you have found it in this product.
