This is the second time I have replaced the tank in the last 8 years. Recently the fuel tank was flooded and didn't hold the pressure. I didn't have to replace the tank tee or any other hardware as it wasn't too old and seemed to work fine. It just seemed like a good idea to replace everything rather than something going wrong after installation. I installed a new tank here with the kit and everything seemed to work fine. I had to adjust the pressure a bit, but otherwise the kit turned out to be of very high quality. After pressure testing, chlorination and subsequent washing, everything worked perfectly. Then the next day I started hearing a loud buzzing sound as the pump turned on. Buzz? That was not so before. I thought maybe the pressure switch was rattling. no I had to go back to the well to find out what was going on. When turning on the pump, the needle of the manometer fluctuated sharply and slowly rose. I would suspect something is broken or loose in the sensor. and it's LOUD so I can hear it through the floor above the tank. Solution? I need to depressurize and drain the system and then REPLACE with a new gauge. I'm deducting a few stars from the rating because I'm not satisfied.
