Review on ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ Sony ICFC303 AM/FM Dream Machine Clock Radio (No Longer in Production) by Joey Gilbert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

7 preset radio stations that work in the dark.

I have had this radio for many years - 20 years? 30 years? It helped me a lot, but a memory preset button broke at some point, so I'm buying another one. I was surprised I couldn't find another radio on the market with 7 presets so you can change radio stations at night in the dark with just a touch, fairly large buttons. There is another brand that has 5 x 2 gifts (5 for AM and 5 for FM). So if you love FM, there might be more. But this one lets you preset (or mix and match FM) 7 AM stations. I set 6am and 1 FM because I want to talk on the radio in bed at night. If a station is showing an ad, I can switch to another station at the push of a button. As for AM, they seem to have a conspiracy for all AM stations to play ads at the same time to thwart your aim. But NPR FM is at odds with AM broadcasters (as it really is). Conversely, if NPR funds you, you can switch channels with the press of a button. Unfortunately, I could not find a similar new product. I just ordered a used one off Ebay as I found a better price than Revain. Pros of this device: 7 presets, slow memory leak on disconnect, two alarms. You can set the day of the week. Cons: The overall function is a bit difficult; So hold on to your leadership. The light on the face (time/frequency) is too bright (for me) to sleep next to my head unless you tape a lightproof card to your face like I did (I tape the top so I can pick it up and can read). time if I want). I actually covered the card with black vinyl tape to make it darker, but I just taped it to the card. Someone has complained about the buttons beeping in response, but with normal use the buttons don't beep at all. When you set up some features, you may get audio feedback.
