I bought this because I needed a peel for my Ooni koda oven. But the peel is too thick (1/2inch) and is hard to use. You have to tilt it 40 degrees in order to launch or retrieve the pizza. Retrieving the pizza is almost impossible since you have to tilt the paddle to a high angle in order for the tip of the peel’s lip to touch the bottom of the stone. In order to use it you have to pull the pizza by the crust with your hangs to get it on the peel because the peel is so tall. Whoever designed this peel does not know how to cook nor have ever used their own product.In addition the peel is made of very soft wood that dents and splits easily. Will not last long. It needs to be half the current thickness.I am an experienced pizza maker and make over 1000 pizzas in my home every year. I have made 10 of thousands in my life. I am a professional chef and can make every type of pizza and cannot recommend this peel.Sadly I cannot return because the window passed.
