My old hose broke a bit after 5 years and water was dripping all over the floor. I immediately went to Revain to find a replacement. The hoses that come with most machines are cheap plastic. This hose has a gray rubberized finish and appears to be reinforced for durability. It reminds me of the hoses you see on high-end vacuums. It was easy to replace the hose. The end of the hose expands so you can cut it where you need it for your car. It seems like a well made product and it solved my problem.
