I have used non-OEM center clamp caps (like Marumi) for years because they are easier to install and remove than the side clamp caps Canon has been selling for decades. In addition, center clip caps are easier to use with lens hoods. So I was glad Canon saw the light of day and bought me a pair of these logo caps. And yes they are better than the old factory caps and work great. However, Canon's clamp mechanism is a little tight and awkward to attach at first, but loosens up after a few months. Now I need to replace all my old Canon caps.
