Okay but probably not for PVC.

First impressions out of the box, I was surprised how hefty this cutter was. Quite robust. Also, pretty well made, don't really see many flaws. So far so good. While this says it can cut 2", that is true, but you are not going to be able to cut 2" schedule 40 PVC because that measures 2-3/8", won't fit in this cutter. So I tried a piece of 1-1/2" PVC I had and it did cut it, but there was a slight problem. During the process of cutting, this tool leave a ridge on the ends of the PVC. So after you cut, you'll need to sand, might be a bit of sanding to get that ridge off. It's because of the large gaps in between the rollers.Seems they did not think this out enough and sure did not test it enough before making them. Might not be a big deal to some folks, just want to make sure people know before they buy.I tried some metal conduit and it cut just fine, no ridge, cut was clean.Honestly, it does cut good, but I think it could be sharper. That is only my opinion. Not terrible for the price, does the job, just might need extra clean up. Up to you if you are okay with that.
