later After doing enough research I settled on this item and was excited to try it out. On paper this seems excellent. Unfortunately, when the product arrived I saw that the bag containing the protein powder had burst. Revain will be replacing it so I will update my review as soon as I can use this product. UPDATE: After the poor start that I briefly described in my original review (above), I got a replacement quickly and easily. Now that I've used the product I can say I like it and will order again. I blended whey protein isolate powder two ways. 1) I blended it into a smoothie using a blender. Although it mixes thoroughly, it gets a little frothy. 2) I have also manually mixed the powder into drinks (like milk). It mixes quickly and thoroughly without much trouble. There is no foam when beating by hand. I've found that no matter how I mix the powder, it adds a nice texture to the drinks I make. Although this powder is "unflavored," it has a mild, natural milk flavor that I found pleasant. The mild flavor mixes well with other ingredients I mix it with or disappears entirely. Just so you know, the packaging says the product is kosher and halal. However, no certification symbols are printed on the packaging and the manufacturer does not indicate who the certification body is. As for the packaging, I definitely have issues with it. As I said, the first bag I received was torn and had to be replaced. Therefore the bag is a bit fragile. Another issue is that although it is zip-lock packaging, it is more inconvenient to use and store than products that come in a hard plastic container with a lid. While I don't see that as a big deal, I definitely prefer better packaging. I like that it comes with a measuring spoon. Again, despite a bumpy start, I like this product very much and I will order it again.
