I bought a 24w Armacost driver based on my voltage drop calculations (7ft LED strip) to match the wireless remote control. I ran two strips totaling 36 inches under the counter for a preliminary test of the driver and remote positioning of the LEDs. The LEDs came on at full brightness but the remote control didn't work. General. So according to another reviewer here, apparently the driver immediately smoked the remote? I will call the manufacturer the next business day and see what support they can offer. But it was very disappointing that the remote control failed immediately. The instructions clearly state that the possible light output should not be underestimated, but nothing is said about being overwhelmed. I did it according to his instructions and voila! It works well. I would add that the instructions suggest pairing, but this is only written (to me) as necessary when using multiple remotes. So I will now proceed with the installation much happier. And we look at its durability.
