I ran two strips totaling 36 inches under the counter for a preliminary test of the driver and remote positioning of the LEDs. The LEDs came on at full brightness but the remote control didn't work. I went through 2 of these, each of which failed within a day. Armacost recommended purchasing a 24 watt driver with a 98 inch color changing light bar with this remote control. They don't say that the 24 watt driver will turn off the remote if you use a shorter piece of light strip. I cut my strip in half for a short dry strip. This is a good quality controller that far outperforms many cheap controllers with lots of colored buttons. While the quality is good, it doesn't offer direct access to the different color combinations it can identify. You have to scroll about 30 to get to the right one. Not a big problem, but it makes it a bit tedious to use.
