First, it's important to note that they were made for a UTV and NOT a full size Jeep. Even if your guard bar is soft, they won't fit. So be sure to measure your steering wheel. If it's 1.75 inches or less, they'll fit great. They fit perfectly on our Kawasaki Mule XC. When we ride a mule, the passenger has nothing to hold on to. Hands on the steering wheel but Kawasaki placed the grips in front next to the windshield, I don't know who came up with the brilliant idea of putting them there but I never used them because I almost have to get out of my seat and almost snaps them. These grips are the perfect size for a roll cage, even with the factory roof installed. They can be moved from front to back along the steering wheel to any convenient location. Definitely one of the best purchases we've made for our Mule. I was very surprised at their quality, especially given the low price. Very well made with push-through buckles (no clips), Velcro and flexible rubber handles. They have been for a few months now and use them every time we ride our mule so almost every day. holds up very well.
