They were definitely average. We have just returned from a 2 week trip to the Philippines and I bought these for myself and my wife. the forehead is uncomfortable and sticks to the forehead. The mask is not fog-free as advertised and it is actually quite difficult to keep the fog out while snorkeling (involves opening the mask and trying to get rid of the water). It is difficult to get rid of the mask when there is too much water in the mouth. My wife's experience is that the mask is very uncomfortable overall with parts of it pressing on the bridge of the nose and cheeks. The mask also didn't seem to cover her face properly (although it was most likely a size issue). The GoPro feature seems good too, but you actually need to be careful what angle you mount the GoPro at as it comes out of the water when you swim. n non-return valve (because I think this is the best feature of this mask). This minimizes the problems of sweating, pain, etc.
