This stool consists of only three parts and is therefore quite simple. However, the seat does not snap onto the "gas bottle", which causes the attachment to wobble. I've also found that it doesn't adjust up or down, leading me to believe that this particular sensor is defective. I've looked at the connectors and it seems that something is missing from either the seat base (probably) or the gas cylinder. The gas bottle is perfectly fixed in the leg frame. It is currently unusable. UPDATE: I contacted the seller for a refund or replacement as I thought the chair was defective but it turned out I was. This isn't in the instruction manual, but you have to remove the cap from the gas cylinder before installing the seat, which the company explained after I emailed them. Unfortunately, instead of waiting for me to respond to new instructions, they also ordered me a new chair free of charge. I found that I hadn't removed the cap and this is how the cap got stuck in the seat preventing it from locking into place. I found small printed instructions on the cap (after removing it with pliers) telling me to remove it from the gas cylinder. . So I'm stupid and reckless, but this company is pretty nice. I'm sitting on a stool at my desk as I write this and I can tell it's going to be good for my posture, but maybe not my butt. The seat is very durable. Deducting a star for not including such an important destination in the rest of the destinations, but the customer service is excellent.
