Use these mounts together or individually to create your own rig to mount the cameras on any metal surface. They open up a whole world of unique mounting options. They are durable and lightweight. Just be sure to check for metal debris before installing on painted surfaces. I tested this by packing my GoPro Hero 7 on board my truck and driving to the store. The footage was great and with a good ball head it doesn't budge even on rough roads. I haven't tested it off-road, but I would suggest creating a setup that uses more than one for best results. Good product!
