Review on Ayestar Glitters Halloween Professional Sensitive by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easily rinsed off in the bathroom. No stains remain.

Pretty easy to use and stayed in place until we were ready to remove it. We applied an even layer of oil-based moisturizer to my granddaughter's skin before applying, as directed in the instructions. Let it dry and then sparingly add drops of water, one at a time, to the flowers we were going to use. I understand where some people started that the colors are pale, but if you smear with water sparingly and slowly, you can vary the depth of the shades of each color - the more water, the lighter the shade, and vice versa. We set up a table fan and dried each color before moving on to the next color. We added glitter after the paint was almost half dry and it looks like this. We used paint to make the mermaid scale a mixed rainbow of colors in fish scale shapes to create the mermaid effect. We applied it to the skin that was visible on her face, arms and legs. We found a great how-to video on YouTube. I bought some extra makeup brushes and sponges to add variety to the look we were going for. We haven't used any of the templates yet, but will likely get some fun tattoos in the future. So far we have only used it for her Halloween mermaid costume. This all took quite a long time, but we were perfectionists and had no experience with face/body paint. It has held up well, hasn't cracked or chipped anywhere, but has rubbed a bit in places that was rubbing against the fabric of the suit. The colors were washed right off her suit and left no stains. We put her in the bathroom and applied some of the lotion we used as a base, let it sit for a few minutes and wiped off with a cloth. Most came immediately. The rest was simply washed off in the bathroom. Of course, the most stubborn residue was glitter, lol. But we just showered her after the bath and that took care of itself! Glad there's still a lot of paint left! I'm sure it will last forever because it looks like watercolor paint. We'll be having this color for a very long time, probably enough for the Halloween years, but fun tattoos in the meantime.
