I got plantar fasciitis about 4 months ago. I felt like I had literally stepped on a big nail. I couldn't put any pressure on that leg at all. After I figured out what was going on, I tried on every shoe I could get my hands on, went to specialty shoe stores to try them on, they made me buy $250 insoles, whatever. In short, I have 5 pairs of shoes specifically designed for this problem. One company is GD and the other is A. You will feel fine at first, but as the day goes on the pain will increase. The other 3 pairs of Vionic shoes. These particular shoes were my lifesaver! My Vionic Gemma Mule Slippers and Randi Slide Sandals are great too. From the moment my feet hit the ground in the morning until I crawl into bed at night, one of those three shoes is on my feet! I don't know where I would be without her.
