I received this speaker with a set of computer speakers from the same brand. I use it as a sort of surround sound when I'm gaming and don't want to use a headset. It's not loud at all, I wouldn't use it as a standalone speaker, it would be far from quiet, but I would suggest pairing it with another set of speakers, if you decide to use one it will get the job done. . The bass in it is small, almost nothing. You'll be able to hear the bass, but there's no thumping/rattling in the speaker that you can feel. The LEDs on the speaker are also of quite poor quality, the light output is very slow, almost like a lava lamp.
