Review on 🐠 Penn-Plax 700 Elite Cascade Canister Aquarium Filter by Erin Bowers

I bought it in July 2018 but didn't install it until January 2019. I use it in a 20 gallon tank that's a bit crowded with a lot of creatures. While the Elite 700 may seem like overkill for this small tank, it fits my needs perfectly. I used a large hanger on the rear filter and always changed the filter media. It got expensive. This filter was easy to assemble right out of the box. When I was done, I pressed the fill button until the canister started soaking up water before plugging in the device. That's all! I would recommend that you close one of the valves 3/4 or halfway as the water pressure is very strong. (I made a mess) The Penn Plax Elite 700 Canister Filter clears water of cloudiness and aerates water with controlled flow. It came with lots of extra replacement filters but I checked both February and March 1st and just had to flush and reinstall.
