Came in a package, carefully. Two things: There was no original Toyota mark on the filter. I'm not saying it's not, but there just wasn't a mark. Looked and felt like the original! I'm a hobby mechanic and I work hard on all my cars. This was for the 2017 Highlander. Toyota special key does not belong to Gen. Toyota and the seller states this clearly. The cap that fits on the Highlander and all other new Toyotas with these new oil filters is plastic. The cap broke when I was tightening it to put it back on. The wrench certainly didn't fit the lid perfectly, but it did remove the unruly, over-tightened lid. However, I was very careful not to overtighten it or the key will deviate slightly. Thing is, I'm not sure who's to blame. But be very careful if you overtighten or your filter will leak! Be sure to check the torque specifications here too! I did it, so maybe just under specs! In general, the product is very satisfied! Just beware of overspeeding! Would have given 5 stars if I knew this key is very close to the original Toyota key. Remember, if you think a screw or cap is stuck, it probably is! So DO NOT hesitate!
