Bought the wall version. While everything in the listing and Q&A seemed to indicate it came with a timer, it didn't. I was annoyed but decided to keep going. Before I poke any holes in my wall I wanted to turn it on and see how well it works. It took about 30 minutes to heat up to about 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Good, but not outstanding either. I figured I'd proceed with the installation and spend about $60 to hook up a timer to the towel rail port. Before going to the store, I went through the installation instructions and hardware to make sure I had what I needed. Everything went wrong here. The way it was attached to the wall was the dumbest thing I've ever seen. The device weighs over 30 pounds, but all mounting hardware is plastic, which is underwhelming. It's hard to describe, but you should use screws to tap one plastic part so it can act as a set screw to hold the other plastic part. I have no idea who would have thought that was a good idea, but I'm very glad I've never put holes in my wall. This junk goes straight back to Revain.
