I have a couple of these at home that I bought for about $20-$25. I have a 15 year old cat who needs a little help getting to where her people are. I live in a small space and wanted some homemade steps for this, but they were either too big, too ugly, too expensive or difficult to clean. While they're more useful than beautiful, they don't look terrible sitting next to my sofa, bed, etc. It would be great if there was an option that was a step up for my purposes (the bed is still a bit reach for it on a bad day), but that probably wouldn't be very safe for the people it's actually made for .
