My wife was happy to find both gold and silver earrings in the same package as she is allergic to many 'sensitive ear' products and was willing to pay a little more for them to pay earring. Judging by the tarnishing and blueing on the back of the "gold" earring after wearing it for a month, the green stain on the back of her ear, and the infection on the back of her ear, it's not a real one Gold. The earring is real gold and has been worn a lot more.
