I'm a fan of research. Before I buy "anything" over $50, I spend hours, sometimes days, scouring the internet for reviews, comparisons, consumer testimonials, and anything else I can find! I was absolutely certain that this was the best product of its kind at this price point. They finally tricked the old master! The first time we used it to clean the bathroom, it worked perfectly. No back work required. It met and exceeded my expectations and we spent the rest of the day admiring the cleanliness of the bathroom. I was so proud that my hours of research paid off and even recommended it to a friend. After that, the room only had to be cleaned very lightly on a regular basis, so that the steamer sat in the closet for several months. THEN IT HAPPENED... it was only our third time using the machine and the biggest nozzle we used broke! Keep in mind that this requires almost no elbow lubrication like a mop. Steam really does most of the work. That's why we were shocked that it broke so easily. The hose "inside the floorhead" has come loose and all steam is now being expelled through the top of the floorhead, rendering it completely unusable. Shower and bathtub floors as well as large surfaces such as walls. Of course it broke just 3 months after the 1 year warranty! Everything looks good on paper, but I wouldn't recommend it again. McCulloch should have had a great product but the quality was VERY poor on this nozzle. We even disconnected and reconnected the hose, but it only took about ten minutes. Extremely disappointed. Yes we had it for over a year but overall it broke on the third use. Buyer warning!
