I used to always have Sony headsets. There are so many headphones out there these days, you won't know what's what. I liked the J1 Treblab that went away a few weeks ago. I chose the XR800 but the sound was very light with almost no bass. Unfortunately I had to send the headphones back and look for something else. This Sony stumbled across the screen and thought I should give it a try to see if they retain the quality they had back then. The sound was much warmer than the Treblab, which probably means the processor is different. The bass is there, not loud but a lot more than the highs I had. Most likely the size difference with the driver. I don't like the idea of the chain resting on the shoulder, but it would take some getting used to. So far, so good!
