Bought two for extra lighting at work and was initially pleased with the versatility and brightness of such a small handheld lamp. However, I noticed that after about 15 minutes the light dims, as if it had a weak battery. This also happens with freshly charged batteries. It looks like these lights will automatically dim to a lower brightness to potentially save battery, but there's no other option than turning the light off and back on to reset the timer. I noticed. Happens on both devices we bought, so it's either a common quality control issue or a bug that the seller doesn't disclose. In any case, the lamps are not suitable for continuous use. I only recommend this for emergency situations where you don't need light for more than 15 minutes at a time.
